Pattern Maker
Pattern Maker challenged me to explore the creative and technical processes of developing seamless repeating patterns suitable for various applications including textiles, wallpapers, and packaging.
Using industry standard design software, students experimented with shapes, colors, and different repeat structures to produce unique and visually compelling patterns. The project moved through three distinct phases: hand drawn shape studies, digital pattern cell development, and final color application.
Process Work
1. Exploring different type of shapes
2. Deciding Shapes
3. Making Patterns
4. Exploring color combinations
