My Hero

I explored with this project to choose a personal hero, posterize a high-resolution photograph of their face, and transfer the image onto illustration board. Two portraits were required. The first had to use colors from a personal color research palette. The second had to explore optical color mixing through the pointillism technique. Color placement had to follow value throughout both pieces.
